Thanks Siany, for inspiring me to scrapbook again!! :)
I actually did a scrap page the other day of a photo of Liberty with all her Mothers Group friends! Its such a cute photo, I cant share it on my blog due to privacy of all the other babies, but trust me, a photo of nine little babies lying on a rug, is very cute!!!!
But I can share my latest layout I created last night...
Im not 100% sure about it, i thing it might be too 'busy'.

Wow! Im back!! This is the first layout i've done since Liberty was born (exactly 2 months ago today!). Im a bit annoyed at my printer as it seems to be printing all my photos really dark! Plus today is an awful rainy dark day so i couldn't take a good photo of my layout which has resulted in the photo looking even darker, but i think you get the idea!! lol
Its a pretty plain layout! I think i've just got to get back into it and they will get more 'busy'! I cant remember where half my scrapbooking things are stashed! Haha!

"Introducing Liberty"

Hi Everyone!
Thanks to the fact that there was nothing worth watching on TV last night (and thats saying something as im a TV adict!!) I managed to get some scrapbooking done!!

My 1st layout is a photo taken in Manly on monday. I met up with my parents and my 2nd cousin Swen and his family who are over from Switzerland. Their little baby girl Lea is so ADORABLE! They gave us some swiss t-shirts, and swiss chocolate (yummmm, the BEST!) and they also gave us a hamper of goodies for the baby! So kind!

"countdown" In this months Scrapbooking Memories Magazine (Vol 10 No 1) I was lucky enough to be able to participate in the 'Free Paper Challenge'! I had to create one layout and one accent with the paper and lettering provided. Here are my published creations...

Yesterday I was on a roll!! I haven't scrapped in ages, but yesterday i dedicated a whole afternoon to scrapbooking and I created these four layouts! I had fun using my new Studio Calico Kit (thanks Siany for ordering it for me!!), The QTea kit (which i won as a RAK from Sharmaine's blog a little while back) and also using the papers that my friend Daria gave me as a birthday gift. So I had lots of goodies to use!! It was fun!

A *new* look....

Hi Everyone!
I thought my blog was in need of a 'new look' seeing as i've been blogging for over a year!! lol! I even managed to make a banner! Im not too sure of this one.. but it'll do till i get round to making a nicer one!!

My layout was inspired by the Coke Zero 'Summer of us' Can. Matty drinks lots of Coke Zero, and I really like the look of the can so I thought i'd use it as inspiration...

Week One of holidays...

Hi everyone!!
Well, the restaurant is closed for our annual holidays and this was the 1st week! As you know (from my post below) my 1st day off I met up with Daria and had a good time! Then on the thursday I went to the hospital to see the midwife for a check up! All is well! The heartbeat is strong, i've put on 6kg and my blood pressure is normal! So we are very happy and hope the rest of the pregnancy is all normal and healthy too!
Here is a piccie of my 'bump'...

Then on Friday My brother and Siany came down to visit for the day! We had planned a scrapping day so my brother John, brought some dvds to watch so he wouldn't get too bored! But i think he was more entertained in feeding the six cockatoo's that came to visit our balcony in the afternoon!! lol!
Sian and I were very productive and created a few layouts each! Here is one of the layouts I created about being 26 years old...

It was fun swapping our products with eachother and just being able to scrap together! They ended up staying for dinner - Spag Bol with Gluten Free Pasta (sorry about that bit guys!! lol). Siany also took some piccies of Matty and I and the bump as the centre focus...
Then on saturday morning I met up with my friend Bec and we planned on going for a swim at Balmoral Beach but the weather wasn't very nice! Matty, Mikey and Kato were doing THIS race in middle harbour, which Matty and Mikey won! So that was exciting! We went and met up with them once they were finished, and ofcourse, the sun came out then too!! hahaha!
That night, Matty, Me, Bec, Kato & Mikey drove out to the veledrome to watch the Cycling! I'd never been before! It was a fun night out! The commentator was so funny and it made it really good to watch as he expalined everything!
My favourite of the races was the 'Miss N Out' races where a whole bunch of cyclists start and each lap the last person past the line gets eliminated! This was made extra enjoyable to watch cos of the funny comentating!!!
Ofcourse, i didnt take my great SLR camera, just my point'n'shot camera that fits in my handbag so no photos really worked out! This was the best of the bunch...

Tonight Matty and I are leaving on a holiday! And um, I hear thunder rumbling! I hope it'll be nice weather at our destination!! So, i will be back in blog land in a few days once we get back!

an announcement...

Oh gosh... its been so hard to keep this a secret for sooooo long!!
But I can finally share our news...

Matty and I are having a BABY!!!!!!!!!!

We are so excited, especially seeing as it was full of risks because of my coelaic disease, but we have passed the biggest hurdle of the 1st trimester so we are now celebrating and telling the world!!!!

Here is our baby's 1st photo... hehehe!
He/she isn't coming into the world till Late May 08.. so there is still a lot of growing and waiting till we get to meet the little one!! We cant wait though!!!

Here is a little layout i did about the pregnancy too...
We aren't going to find out the sex of the baby... we want it to be a surprise.. but i'll see if i can search the web for one of those polls so that all you guys.. my blogging friends... can let me know wether you think it will be a boy or a girl!! Any suggestions on where you find these poll thingys???

Firstly i'd like to say a HUGE thank you for all your kind and encouraging comments on my last blog post!! It made me feel so happy to see so many of my friends being so supportive!! Thank you to all of you!!! :)

I've had a nice and busy week!!! Matt's dad Buzz is staying with us for a few weeks! He has been helping Matt out in his shop (pro kayaks) and hanging out with us! We've been playing a few board games.. my favourite.. Smart Ass! I was lucky to recieve a RAK from Siany last week.. which included one of her sewing masterpieces!! Thanks Sian!!!

I've been so spoilet lately!!! Matty bought me a gift voucher for a scrap shop out of the blue!!! It was such a nice surprise!! And he gave me flowers last week! Such a perfect boyfriend!!

I've been bust scrapping today.. I decided to do the All About Eve Challenge today cos i had the perfect photograph for it!
Matt and I dont have that many photos of us together so whilst on holidays last week we got one of both of us which i was really happy with... until... after looking at it properly.. i noticed matty grabbing my booty! arrgh!!!
But when i saw the all about eve challenge to "scrap your booty" i thought perfect!!!! heheh!

Hello!!
I"ve got a couple of layouts to share with you today that i managed to scrap whilst i was in the mountains this week (between work shifts)!
My 1st layout is of my friend Daria, who let me take some pics of her at 6 months pregnant!! Thanks Dar!! Its a pretty simple layout but i like the final result!

I also did the All About Eve Challenge this week which was to "scrap your age". This was such a fun challenge and i love my final result!!! To make the number "26" like that... i got some scrap transperancy paper, cut it into shape and then i sanded and inked it and stapled it onto my layout!
