So you want to know how EARTH HOUR went??

Well, yes! We did it in the restaurant! My dad went to buy heaps of candles and we put them on every table in the restaurant! The staff all had torches to help us see when we wrote orders etc! I made a couple of posters to inform people of what earth hour was, and i made badges for all the staff too!
It was good fun!! In fact, the customers loved it so much that at 8:30pm when we switched the lights back on, all the customers sighed so we turned them back off and they all cheered! So we actually celebrated Earth Hour for the entire night!!
Of course in the Kitchen we needed light so Dad could see what he was cooking and the girls could see the dishes pile up (im sure they probably wanted the lights off for that part!!!)

It actually didnt seem as dark as it does in this photo.. but it was hard for the eyes to ajust to the lights after coming from the kitchen all the time! It really created a great atmosphere!!
