Liberty's Feet - 8 weeks old...

Layout...

Wow! Im back!! This is the first layout i've done since Liberty was born (exactly 2 months ago today!). Im a bit annoyed at my printer as it seems to be printing all my photos really dark! Plus today is an awful rainy dark day so i couldn't take a good photo of my layout which has resulted in the photo looking even darker, but i think you get the idea!! lol
Its a pretty plain layout! I think i've just got to get back into it and they will get more 'busy'! I cant remember where half my scrapbooking things are stashed! Haha!

Yesterday...

Yesterday Bec came over and hung out with Liberty and I in the morning, and we went up to the Narrabeen markets to look around! I actually remember seeing a stall for picnic blankets a few months back and I was looking for it as, i'd like a nice picnic rug (with a plastic bottom) so i can take Liberty out n about. The stall wasn't there.. any suggestions of any where nice picnic rugs are sold??
In the afternoon Liberty and I went back over to the markets and also went to visit Matty at work... Uhm, before you scroll down any further...
Can you spot the baby in the next photo?? heheheOur future little Kayaker is already trying out the stock to see which one she likes best!! We've already got a Weeniwave for her for when she's a bit bigger!!
Whilst helping her daddy at work, Liberty and Matt went out on the pedal boat for a little cruise on the lake..
This was Liberty's first time out on the lake (8 weeks old) Then Liberty and I went home and she was ALL SMILES from such a good day...

I forgot to blog these piccies of Liberty (at 6 weeks old) playing her favourite game on the excerise ball... so Cute!

Last night Liberty woke at 1am (not happy jan!) so im a little tired today from a bad sleep, but im also excited as its Mothers Group at the clinic and we are having a little party and taking our camera's along to take photos of all the babies!! (i wont be able to blog them as i dont know the mummies that well yet and id have to ask them for permition before putting a their babies on my blog)

Have a good day!!

So much happening!!

Hello!
Wednesdays are Matt, Liberty and My 'family day'. We make sure we go out and do something as a family! We were going to go indoor climbing but its school holidays so figured it would be pretty busy, so instead we drove to Macquarie Shopping Centre (a centre we dont usually go to) to do some shopping for a new arrival in our group of friends (will come to that later in the post!!). The shopping centre has an ice skating rink in it, so it was fun to sit there eating lunch watching all the kids iceskate!

On Thursday my mum came down and stayed the night to visit Liberty and Matt and I ofcourse! She spoils us so much! She brought a little outfit for Liberty and we spent the afternoon at Warringah mall, and Liberty got spoilet again!! She has the biggest wardrobe ever, lucky girl! Mum bought me a top too! I so wanted to buy it with my own money that mum gave me for doing a job for her, but nope, im too spoilet!! She also vaccuumed, and cooked a yummy dinner for us (thanks mum!)! Liberty was so so smiley and chatty, its so cute, she is so alert and wants to know what is going on all the time!!

Yesterday Matty, Liberty and I went to visit Steve and Eva and their brand new baby boy... Fynn! He is adorable and so so tiny!!! I cant believe Liberty was ever that tiny (and it was only 7 weeks ago!). I made Steve, Eva and Fynn a nappy cake as a gift... I will post up about that in the next few days..

Introducing baby Fynn Gardner born 15.07.08, 3kg. With his very proud parents! Eva is coping so well, she's already been out walking & to the shops, she is doing great! And Steve is a natural Daddy!
Liberty also got to meet Fynn!! Fynn slept right through it and Liberty was just wondering what was going on!! Hahaha, she looks gigantic next to him!!!

Busy busy busy....

Here is Liberty having a lovely dream i think!! hehehe

Hi Everyone!
I feel like i never get a chance to blog anymore and when I do blog... it takes me ages! Lucky there is the "save now" button so i can just update the draft!
Liberty is now six weeks old!! Ahhh, it is going so so fast! She is such a good girl! She is starting to be more alert, looking at us heaps, giving us a few little smiles, and doing lots of talking. Her favourite places are:
1. lying on the nappy change table naked
2. in the bath
3.and attached to my boob (haha).
She was supposed to go for her 6 week check up on monday but the clinic was closed due to staff illness (they also cancelled mothers group that day which i was disappointed about, as im really enjoying it!) so i have no idea how much liberty weighs, but I know she's put on a fair bit as i've had to pack away all her 0000 sized clothes this week :(
eta: Liberty has just been for her check up! She now weighs 5kg which puts her in the 90th percentile for weight. She's in the 70th percentile for her length (57cm) oh and in the doctors notes bit the doctor wrote 'healthy baby'. YAY! such great news!
* Here are a few piccies of Liberty, Matty and I taken about a week and a half ago, when I took Liberty down for a walk to visit Matty at work! He was nice and busy, the lake was nice and calm, perfect for kayaking! * This week we had the visit of Matty's parents from NZ. It was their first time meeting Liberty, they were very excited!!! We drove up to Forster for the weekend with them. It was a nice little holiday, and Matty also competed in a Kayak race whilst we were there, he came third, he was disapointed in that as there was a bit of foul play by another kayaker during the race. * On monday, not only did Liberty have her NZ grandparents visiting, but my parents came down for a quick visit too! So many grandparents to spoil Liberty!
* I've had a few baths with Liberty, she LOVES it and so do I, its so much fun! But I have to mention a funny story the first time I had a bath with her...
I got in the bath and then Matty brought Liberty into me. Liberty and I were splashing about having a great time, then I put her against me for a bit and she was looking at me and then....
....
....
POP!
...
...
Yep! She farted! Well, at least I just thought she farted... then all of a sudden, I realised.. it was not a fart, but a POO!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!
You should of seen how fast i jumped up! "Matty! Matty! Quick! Quick! get a towel!". Matty comes running in thinking i'd done something terrible to Liberty, Im standing there holding her out of the water, and there is yellow, curdy poo floating all around the bath tub (and my feet!). Liberty still seemed totally happy even out of the water! She was still having a lovely time!
Every time I think of this moment, i have a giggle! It would of been hilarious if it was on camera!! hahahah!
Here is a piccie of Liberty enjoying the 'big bath' (not the poo incident time either)
Liberty is still not sleeping through the night but she is being a good girl (most nights) and only waking once at an unreasonable hour! I like the nights when I only have to get up once!! hehe!

One last little piccie of her before I sign off...
