Art Journal Challenge - Week Thirteen

This week was the perfect week for Emily to put up the prompt she did!!!

The prompt for this week: "whats on your mind?"

Seeing as tomorrow im going into hospital for day surgery (yep, im nervous) to have an endoscopy done. I've got a lot on my mind about it. Im nervous about tomorrow and hope it will all go well.
Im also nervous about the result.. The gastro doctor told me he was 99.9% certain that I have coeliac disease & these biopsies he's taking will confirm wether I do in fact have it.
Im preparing myself to have it. If I do it will mean following a gluten free diet for the rest of my life. This I believe is going to be pretty tough at first. This has been on my mind.

Try not to think about it too much!! You'll be fine!! And just think - if you do have to change your diet, how much healthier will you be!! I'll be thinking of you!!

Good luck with your tests. Love your card - great colors. My daughter has all sorts of dietary restrictions too - it seems so overwhelming at the beginning but hang in there - it does get better.

wishing you as pleasant an experience as possible tomorrow. I promise that you will feel so much better on a gluten free diet that anything that contains it will seem like poison. not that you won't still want to eat it but it won't be worth it. love the katoomba photos and the telling of the candlelight experience :D

My thoughts are with you.
Perhaps once you get going you will feel so much better, it won't seem so bad.
I am borderline diabetic & sometimes I just wish I was so I could get the meds & stop feeling so crappy!!

Believe me, I thought she was crazy for saying that to me! (Danna Korn is an author of "Gluten Free for Dummies" and "Wheat Free, Worry Free." She's great! www.glutenfreedom.net)

Oh you sweet thing. I hope everything went well with your day surgery. I have a few friends here in LA that have to have a gluten free diet. They've gotten really use to it. Still, I'm sorry to hear that you are going through all this.
